The annual FINAT Label Competition enters its 46th year and remains as popular as ever. It is not only an opportunity for label printers to promote and highlight the advantages and uses of self-adhesive labels as an effective marketing, promotional or identification tool, but also a means of receiving global recognition from the international label industry for their achievements.

Winning a FINAT Label Competition award is widely recognized as a great achievement for global label printers and converters. The award serves as an endorsement of quality, innovation, and technical excellence. According to FINAT, the distinction can attract new business, raise your profile within key end-use sectors, and boost employee pride and motivation.

Label industry exposure

The competition shines a spotlight on the strength of self-adhesive labels and narrow web flexible packaging (up to 570mm). It also challenges printers to push technical and creative boundaries. The competition celebrates the craft, innovation, and versatility that drive the label industry forward.

Entering also delivers tangible exposure. Winning entries benefit from extensive coverage across international label media, the FINAT website and FINAT publications, with added opportunities in local and business press. Selected winners will be showcased at the European Label Forum (May 27-29 in Seville, Spain) and may even go on to represent FINAT at the prestigious L9 World Label Awards 2026, which will be judged prior to LOUPE Americas this September.

Entries will be accepted until February 12, 2026, with a maximum extension until February 20.
